Ignoring yourself may seem harmless at first, but over time it becomes a habit that disconnects you from your true desires and needs, affecting both your personal and professional life. On a personal level, it leads to unsatisfying relationships, low self-esteem, and a constant feeling of emptiness. On a professional level, it means settling for jobs that smother your passion, accepting toxic environments, and missing out on opportunities that could boost your growth and happiness. Learning to listen to yourself and prioritize yourself is not a luxury, it is a necessity if you want to build a full, authentic, and successful life.


When you listen to yourself and don't ignore yourself, decision-making becomes more effective, leading to results that exceed expectations, self-confidence increases and you have the strategic clarity of the heart supported by the firmness of the executor's mind to go to the places you really want to go. A better job, a promotion, starting a business, traveling and building yourself a genuinely happy life with the people you love.


Let's see some examples


Ignoring yourself is staying in a relationship that hurts you. It is enduring a job that turns you off for fear of change just to pay you a salary, but I tell you that I have heard of cases of people who have cried before going to work or whose face has become paralyzed from the stress of work. Remember that you deserve a spectacular life and none of this is part of that life. Silencing your dreams and always putting yourself in last place is not an option anymore .


An important step is to listen to ourselves to create a spectacular life that we love to live, let's see how:

Pause. Breathe. Ask yourself:


  • What part of my life no longer makes me happy?

  • What dream did you keep hidden out of fear or habit?

  • When do I feel most alive?

  • Do I believe that what I want is possible for me?


Sometimes the answers come quickly. Other times, they take time. But the simple act of asking yourself questions is an act of self-love. It is pausing the movie of your life and reflecting.


Great! Start with small things:


  • If you don't like your job, acknowledge it out loud and explore new options. Maybe you want to earn another income, start a business or work in a better place.

  • If you dream of singing or traveling, don't rule it out.

  • If you don't like something, tell yourself: “I deserve better and it's on its way to me.”


💖 The second step: Take action because your best version awaits you


Knowing what you want is power. And now, it's time to create a new plan:


Eliminate what drains you. Move away from jobs, people or situations that no longer add up.

Surround yourself with beautiful energy. People who inspire you, support you, and see you with love.

Make room for what makes you vibrate. Maybe it's a new hobby, a trip, or just more time with yourself.


Life is yours. And you decide how spectacular it can be.
